Online Canadian ESL Classes

Canadian English Online is a FREE conversation-based ESL class for intermediate to advanced (IELTS 5+) English language learners. Topics of discussion are all about Canada.

We offer two sessions:

  • Canadian Early Bird ESL Classes – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday mornings from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Toronto Canada time
  • Canadian Night Owl ESL Classes – Tuesday, Thursday, Friday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Toronto Canada time

The instructor led classes are taught by the college’s best ESL Teachers and Canadian TESL teachers in training using Zoom. The class emphasis is on speaking and listening skills with elements of pronunciation, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary building. The class content is all Canadian! Participants will hear a wide range of Canadian accents and converse with other participants from across the country and around the world. This class would be very useful to foreign students thinking about coming to Canada to learn more about Canadian language and culture.

Admission Requirements: To be eligible to join the free classes participants must be at least 18 years of age and be an ESL learner with at least a low intermediate level of English. These classes are not suitable for beginners or basic level learners.

Some of the topics discussed in this course include: Canadian culture, weather, geography, education system, industries, government, immigration, settlement, tourist attractions, popular expressions, famous people, and Candianisms.

Registration: To enrol for classes participants must request admission by the College Dean at Once admitted to the program participants will be given a Zoom invitation valid for one month of free classes.

*Classes are subject to enrolment and may be limited to class size numbers. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants per class. The College reserves the right to accept or refuse participants at any time.
